This class provides a brief summary of Scotland’s church history pre-1500 to 1843.  It covers church records, civil registration (which is known as Statutory Records), Baptisms/Christenings, Marriages, Burials, Cemetery records, moth cloth records, and monumental inscriptions.

Included are Kirk Session Records (which are Church Court Records), Church records Union list, Irregular marriages and the large variety of places to locate all of these various records, including online, on film, and in books and more.
