Mark has been active in documenting family history – for his own family as well as for scores of friends and acquaintances – for the past 30 years. Over the past ten years, he has made over 350,000 contributions to FamilySearch. He participated as an instructor in the GenealogyKC event in 2022 and has taught several other family history classes in the Kansas City region over the past two years. From 2019-2021, Mark served together with his wife as an Area Temple & Family History Consultant for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints assisting people throughout eastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, Delaware, and parts of Maryland. During that time, they also hosted weekly “live” (and recorded) family history instructional sessions on Facebook and YouTube.
