Discovering the untold stories and forgotten details of your ancestors at a family history conference can be an exhilarating journey of self-discovery and a celebration of your family's unique legacy.
You'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow history enthusiasts, learn from expert genealogists, and gain valuable insights into your family's past at this one-of-a-kind conference.
The conference provides diverse sessions on DNA analysis, historical document interpretation, and ancestral homeland research to equip you with tools to uncover elusive family secrets.
GenealogyKC will hold its annual genealogy conference on Friday and Saturday, September 8th and 9th, at 6751 NE 70th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. each day. This event is free and open to the public. The theme for this year's conference is "Connections – We All Have a Story."
Each morning, the event will open with a keynote speaker. The keynote speakers will be Lyle Gibson and Erick Swierk. Following the keynote speaker, classes will begin at 10:15 a.m. There will be multiple classes each hour.
In addition, participants may sign up before the conference to visit with a one-on-one consultant on a specific issue. During online registration, participants may select and pay for lunch. Two lunch periods are provided each day.
