Gail has more than 28 years’ experience in album making and 15 years in digital album making. She has been a member of the Johnson County Genealogical Society since moving to the Kansas City area ten years ago, and has headed the monthly Digital Album Making Special Interest Group for four years.

Making a Digital Family History Album - Gail McGowan Now that you have all this wonderful family information – how do you present it to others?  In this presentation you will get lots of ideas for how to take “dry” genealogy information & make it tell more of the STORY of your family. Albums can be more approachable & engaging for family members who are otherwise not interested in genealogy. Digital albums also have the distinct advantage of reproducibility –meaning everyone can have their own copy of the family story.
