Kathryn is the FamilySearch Digital Library Project Lead. She has enjoyed spreading the word about the value of the Digital Library at events such as RootsTech, Family History Library Facebook Live series, and at various library conferences such as ULA, IFLA, MLA, & RootsTech. Prior to her time with FamilySearch, she provided customer reference assistant and facilitated genealogy classes as an employee of the Midwest Genealogy Center in Independence, Missouri. She currently resides in Lee’s Summit with her husband and three-year-old daughter.
Exploring FamilySearch Digital Library - Kathryn Althoff-Hall This course is designed to introduce and guide attendees through using The FamilySearch Digital Library. Participants will learn how to navigate this vast repository of over a half a million genealogical books that are word searchable. Through instructions, practical examples, and the sharing of additional resources, attendees will leave this session excited and ready to find their ancestors in the FamilySearch Digital Library.
