Mark has been active in documenting family history for 30 years. Over the past 10 years, he has made 300,000+ contributions to FamilySearch. From 2019-2021, he served as Area T&FH leader in the Philadelphia PA Coordinating Council (eastern PA, southern NJ, DEL, and MD). Since coming to KC, Mark has taught at GenealogyKC (2022-2023) and in several other settings. He is a service missionary on the Church’s General Music Committee. His assignment is to research, document, and write biographical summaries for each person who wrote the text or composed the music for hymns to be included in our new hymnbook.

Learn How to Excite Involvement in T&FH Work as a Ward T&FH Leader (Latter-day Saint track) - Mark Nye Know what YOU must bring to your calling personally. Understand the qualities required of successful T&FH CONSULTANTS. Build the skills and confidence of your T&FH consultants. Focus on engaging WARD LEADERS individually. Implement creative approaches that engage OTHERS quickly and over time. Measure, report, and keep a record of progress. DO your calling, then MAGNIFY it!
NOTE: all T&FH Consultants are also invited to attend.
Make the Most of Memories Uploaded to FamilySearch (photos, audio, stories) - Mark Nye Know and leverage the basics. Increase your knowledge of where to look for “buried treasures”. There is more to it than you suppose!
See Your "Real” Family Tree and All Those You Are to Help - (Latter-day Saint track) - Mark Nye Understand basic Church’s policies. Learn various ways to identify those who need your service. Learn how to share names with Family Groups and with the temple system.
